For sale on behalf of a valued overseas customer, a freshly professionally built RS Cosworth engine.

Only for sale due to change of project, and for sale at a fraction of their cost.

Due to the second hand / modified nature of the item, it is being sold without warranty.

This rebuilt engine is a rare beast. RS Cosworth’s values continue to climb, many are being restored and evocations are being built, this engine would be perfect for those applications, plus kit / track / rally car builds.

Engine Spec:

  • 202 block (thicker bore walls, and more webbing than a 205 block)

  • Fully rebuilt, zero miles, (but regularly turned over)

  • Honed bores (1st oversize 91.25mm)

  • Forged Wossner pistons

  • PEC H-Bean steel rods

  • Mahle Motorsport HD big ends

  • Balanced crank / polished journals

  • ARP fasteners (head, mains, rods)

  • CC machined build, including piston rings individually gapped and measured to each bore.

  • Gas flowed head, new guides, seals, double valve springs

  • Vernier cam gears, group A cam belt and new genuine tensioner

  • High pressure Burton oil pump

  • Rebuilt hybrid turbo, 360 degree thrust bearing, green injectors - rated 360 - 380 bhp at 1.7 bar.

  • 4x4 modified and baffled sump.

  • Group A Reinz / Cometic gaskets

  • Vapour blasted, ceramic coated, painted where required

  • Zero miles since professional build

  • Numerous Burton Power receipts

  • Built in Spain by rally engine builder Diego "the Cozzy Guy".
