Here at QuickandBig.com we are delighted to offer for sale, the highly collectable, low mileage, high spec, comprehensively maintained, Audi RS4 (B7) Saloon. We are advertising it on behalf of a valued friend and customer. Its just had £6500 spent at Audi Poole, this one hasn’t just had a carbon clean, our RS4 benefits from a replacement intake system. and also a recent replacement clutch.

The B7 RS4 is widely acknowledged as being the “high water mark” of RS Audi’s, prices (particularly saloons) are rising rapidly. The B7 was the 2nd RS iteration of the Audi A4, (plus of course the original S2). Prices of the S2 and the B5 RS4 are already sky high.

Audi’s big hitter dates from an era when Audi was locked (and thankfully still is) in a power battle with their German neighbors, the BMW M Division, and Mercedes AMG. The contemporary offerings from Munich or Affalterbach, ie, E46 M3 / W203 C55 AMG, couldn’t live with the RS4’s power and of course the benefit of Quattro all wheel drive.

The B7 RS4 launched in 2006 and was over £50,000 (plus extras) when new. Its legendary 4.2l naturally aspirated, long stroke, direct injection, high revving V8, produced 420hp and 430Nm of torque. Only available with a 6 speed manual gearbox, the 0-60mph dash in around 4.5 seconds, and on to a limited 155mph, there are many reports of standard cars limiters not actually kicking in until nearly 170mph.

Such engines as found in the B7, RS4 will never be seen again, and as such values are climbing. It shares much with the engine in Audi’s Le Man winning R8, and is the same unit as the V8 road going R8. So much performance, so much practicality, understated presence (those who know what it is, know) all for the price of a new Mini, but for how long?

The B7 RS4 are things of legend, a quick ”Google” of the reviews and buying guide reveals:

Evo – Still the iteration by which all other are measured. All in all, its pretty damn superb.

Pistonheads – a Hero since day one, then – and for all time too.

Im a big fan of Harry Metcalfe channel, his recent review of the B7 RS4 is below:

There are some other great reviews and road tests on You Tube, from Top Gear etc.

DE07FJZ was first registered on 12/4/2007, having covered a total of only 621,876 miles. The private plate as photographed (KYY67) is available to purchase separately).

It has had 6 former keepers. It was supplied to its first owner by Lancaster Audi, Liverpool. It’s fresh from a significant private collection of special cars.

In the comprehensive file, there is over £?? worth of invoices. In the last three thousand miles our RS4 has had (not limited too), clutch, flywheel, DRC suspension overhaul, front discs and pads, new intake manifold, all plus routine servicing.

The RS4’s fascinating history file accompanies the car, and including every service invoice. Our stunning RS4, has one of the most thorough history files of any car we have had the pleasure of marketing. Everything its needed over the years it’s had, and benefits from a recent full Audi health check, the only advisory was a bump stop, which was replaced less than 400 miles ago.

Its MOT history backs up its low mileage as genuine. Its current test was passed with no advisories, and does not expire until 30/8/2027. A number of old MOT’s also accompany the car,

Our beautifully original, RS4’s 19 inch alloys are unmarked and sport matching 255/35/19 Continental Sport 5P tyres, with good tread depths all-round (again receipts on file).

Our RS4 is the spec everybody wants, options include: wing back sports seats, adaptive lights, heat insulated glass and and Bose Hi Fi.

Our rear wheel drive biased, Quattro driven example is presented in almost immaculate Pearl effect Daytona Grey, complimented by again almost unmarked black leather sports seats, with aluminium trim with carbon fibre inlays and flat bottom steering wheel.

Our RS4 comes equipped with an extensive standard spec features from new includes: Privacy Glass, Sports Suspension, Satellite Navigation System Plus with analogue TV Tuner, 6 disc CD changer, rear heated seats, adaptive lights, auto dimming rear view mirror, auto lights, tracker, 6 speed manual gearbox, sport mode, multiple air bags, ABS with electronic brake force distribution, traction control, alarm system, cruise control, twin zone auto climate control, duel zone climate control, electronic differential lock, head light cleaning system, RS4 sports suspension with variable shock adsorption and dynamic ride control, privacy glass side & rear windows, entertainment system with multimedia with Satellite Navigation, drivers information system, multi-function adjustable steering wheel, Heated / electric wing mirrors, Front heated seats, rear seats ski hatch, Parking Aid (Front/Rear), BI-Xenon headlights and day running lights, tyre Pressure monitoring system, RS4 embossed upholstery, 4 x electric windows, rain sensing wipers, auto lights, ISOFIX mountings, the list goes on. For a 2007 car, I think the right analogy is fully loaded.

Our super rare Audi RS4 B7 comes with full book packs, including: leather wallet,  RS4 quick reference guide, owners manual, navigation system manual, warranty booklet, Audi Centre directory, tyre inflator, warning triangle, tools, RS4 mats, locking wheel nut keys, 2 working keys with remote boot release. And of course the aforementioned, folder of invoices, etc (a petrol heads idea of bedtime reading).

It is of course HPI clear and a full HPI report will be available to potential purchasers.

Many thanks for wading through our lengthy description, we believe it’s better to describe our cars fully. It is not in our interest to waste your time or ours with inaccurate descriptions. It does of course have the odd age related imperfection (which used car doesn’t), but for its age and mileage it is outstanding.

Our B7 RS4 is a practical family modern classic, whose values are only going one way. It ticks all the QuickandBig.com boxes, very rare, very quick, beautifully presented, perfect for a family, comprehensively maintained, and appreciating in value.

Please visit the photographs and our terms and conditions again as they form part of the description, and use the “contact us” tab at the top of the page, to arrange a viewing / test drive by appointment. Any inspection is of course welcome.
