Here at QuickandBig.com we are proud to be able to offer for sale, this appreciating modern classic, the BMW E30 325i Cabriolet, fitted with desirable and super rare M Tech 1 kit.
Following in stela prices now being achieved for contemporary M3’s, the 325i values are already rocketing upwards. As the 1980’s generation indulge in their childhood dream cars.
At “Quick and Big” we specialise in finding rare and desirable cars, the type we all wanted in our youth, just like our classic BMW. The range topping 325i Cabriolet was registered in 1988, and as such is a rare pre face lift car. Its also 38 years young and only 2 years away from being able to be registered as a “Historic” with the associated MOT and Road Tax benefits. The E30 325i was the fasted proper 4 seat convertible money could buy when launched back in the mid 80’s.
E30’s are becoming rarer by the day, good original ones, beautifully presented, and with great histories are rarer still. Those of us who remember the 80’s and 90’s with a pang of fond nostalgia, are snapping these cars up as investments and to use as weekend fun cars.
F494EVF has come to us from its last long term enthusiast owner, he has been lucky enough to owned our M Tech equipped modern classic for over 25 years. During that time it’s been kept in a heated garage and covered 150,301 miles, that’s less than 4k miles a year (backed up by comprehensive service and MOT history). Our E30 comes with a comprehensive history file, recording significant expenditure over the years, benefitting from significant restoration in recent years. .
In our view, the M Tech equipped convertible looks great, inside and out, its Diamond Black metallic paintwork gleams, complimented by optional and desirable black leather interior.
As a top of the range 325i, it is loaded with standard features. Equipment includes: manual hood (much easier and cheaper to live with than the power hood), 4 x electric windows, central locking, green graduated tint screen, electric door mirrors, sports seats with adjustable knee bolsters, front fog lamps, service indicator, etc. It also has a number of “extras” including: Sport steering wheel, Sport rear spoiler, shadow line (body coloured chrome delete) and on board computer.
Its beautifully original, and a throw back to our “Yuppie” days, it even comes with its original fitted hands free kit / Motorola “James Bond” phone, and BMW detachable tow bar / cover, which originally towed a Jet Ski, 90’s cool or what!?!
It comes with a comprehensive service records, in the original service book there are over 20 stamps, most latterly serviced including cam belt change for us. A comprehensive A4 file also accompanies the car with numerous receipts for routine maintenance dating back to the mid 90’s, plus repairs and restoration with some photographs.
Its MOT, backs up its mileage as genuine. In the comprehensive history file, there is a big stack of old MOT’s dating back to 1994. Its most recent test does not expire until 12/01/2027.
We have just had its 17inch Alpina rep alloys, stripped and re powder coated, and shod with new Toyo Proxes 215/45/17 tyres all round, they look great!
The 325i comes with full book packs, glove box torch, locking wheel nut sockets, spare alloy wheel, jack / wheel brace / wheel chock and BMW tool kit.
For the 325i cabriolet’s lucky new owner, it will also come with an independent 90+ point pre delivery inspection. It is of course HPI clear, a copy of the PDI and full HPI report will be available to potential purchasers.
Many thanks for wading through our lengthy description, we believe it’s better to describe our cars fully. It is not in our interest to waste your time or ours, with inaccurate or incomplete descriptions. It does of course have the odd age related imperfection (which used car doesn’t), but for a usable, near 40 year old, modern classic, its lovely.
