Definitely one for the Jag enthusiast and collector, super rare X150 XKR-S was limited to 50 RHD examples. Our modern classic is currently being prepared. Please use the contact us link above to register your interest.

Here at QuickandBig.com we are delighted to be able to offer for sale, our super rare big cat, the limited edition Jaguar XKR-S. Only 50 of these stunning X150  to our knowledge ours is the only example on the market.

The Jaguar XK was an instant design classic, having been penned by Ian Callum (also responsible for the contemporary Aston Martin DB’s and Vanquish), the Jag being widely acknowledged as the most beautiful of the bunch. The Limited Edition, aluminum bodied, X150, XKR-S combines beautiful looks with the brutish punch of the Jaguar’s 420bhp supercharged V8.

The £80k, XKR-S benefitted from numerous upgrades over the “standard” XKR, its limiter was raised to 174mph, and at the time was Jaguars fasted ever road car (behind the XJ220 hyper car).

In 2008 only 200 XKR-S’s were produced worldwide, only 50 in of them were right hand drive, all of them presented in stunning metallic Ultimate Black. Its not to be confused with the much more prevalent 4.0 litre, XKRS badged models produced towards the end of the X100 model run a few years earlier.

To create the most exhilarating and visually aggressive XK to date, Jag’s engineers (along with Prodrive) really went to town, this was not just a rebadge but the most driver focused “Jaaag” (sorry couldn’t resist the Top Gear pronunciation).

They revised the suspension with bespoke dampers / anti roll bar and recalibrated the CATS (computer active technology suspension), to give a more driver focused experience and 10mm lower ride height, plus 10% quicker steering. The exterior styling received new front splitter, rear spoiler, side sills, new rear bumper and diffuser. Presented in Ultimate Black Metallic, with contrasting grill, side vents and diffuser. An active exhaust system provides an appropriate sound track, stopping is provided by all new bespoke Alcon 6 pot monoblock front calipers and 4 pot rears with 400 and 350mm radially vented and crescent grooved discs. Brakes that big needed some special wheels too, the XKR-S came with bespoke 20 inch forged Vortex alloys. The XKR-S’s luxuary interior benefits from monogrammed instrument cluster / kick plates / mats and head rests, full soft grain black leather interior, complimented by piano black veneer / charcoal headlining and aluminium pedals. As standard the XKR-S also benefits from the top of the range “Potfolio” options including the awesome 525 watt premium audio system with Bowers and Wilkins speakers.

All of the above added up to creating a “proper Jaaag” packing 420 bhp / 560 Nm, capable of 174mph, 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, wrapped in one of the most handsome and menacing exteriors on the road. How fabulous and ironic that its also ULEZ exempt!

No wonder the contemporary motors press described the XKR-S as:

Car – “I cant think of a GT that does sporting comfort and luxury better, and that includes the twice as pricey Aston DBS”.

Auto Express – “The XKR-S is enormously accomplished. It’s simply fabulous to drive, with a storming V8 engine and a fine blend of handling and ride comfort”.

There are enough column inches dedicated to Jaguars future directions, I wont go there………… but suffice to say, Im a fan of a “proper Jaaag”, it seems that other petrol heads are too. It is sad that we will never see the likes of the XKR-S again.

XKR’s are appreciating in value. The best, rarest, low mileage, original, cherished examples like ours, values are climbing fastest, as those of us who wanted one when they were new (ours was £80k back in 2008) can now own one of these motoring icons.

KT58BKL has only covered 79,168 miles, all backed up by comprehensive service history. Our super rare XKR-S was first registered on 1/9/2008, and has had only 3 previous keepers.

Our stunning Jag comes with a huge folder of documentation including receipts for every service, old MOT’s, hard backed dealer book on the XKR-S etc, it’s a Petrol Heads idea of bed time reading. Importantly it also includes the XKR-S’s original build spec, confirming all the “R-S” options, important with these as given how rare they are, we seen a few “normal” R’s mascaraing as “R-S’s” over the years.

Our Jag’s Ultimate Black Metallic Blue body work is a credit to its former owners, the soft grain, black leather interior is a lovely place to be and fully loaded. The rear seats look like they have never been sat in (it’s even a 2 plus 2). The boot and engine bay present beautifully, and as original as any enthusiast would want to see. It really is an XKR-S for the enthusiast and collector.

Our super rare Jag is accompanied by a mountain of paperwork, including proof of 10 services (including invoices), 9 of them at Jaguar at main dealers. Its most recent service was carried out at 76k miles and included a gearbox service / diff and brake fluid replacement. Our XKR-S has also just benefitted from over £10k worth of expenditure on its braking set up, including parking brake module replacement, Alcon front break caliper replacement along with new front discs and pads.

As already said, for the limited XKR-S, Jaguar chucked the kitchen sink at in terms of standard equipment, including all the “Portfolio” spec, a quick summary includes: 6 speed electronic automatic transmission with sequential shift (Steering wheel paddles), CATS (computer active technology suspension), Trac DSC (dynamic stability control), ABS, EBA (emergency brake assist), EBD (electronic brake-force distribution, ASL (automatic speed limiter), Auto bi-xenon head lamps with washers, corning lamps, auto wipers, front and rear park assist, power fold rear view mirrors, heated windscreen, motorized / memory drivers and passenger seats, cruise control / active speed limiter, dual zone climate control (just re-gassed, nice and cold), keyless entry / exit / start, Bluetooth connectivity, 7 inch touch screen, DVD nav system, front and side air bags, the list goes on, but the expression I think is fully loaded!

In the extensive history file, is a huge stack of MOT certificates, which back up its low mileage. Its most recent was passed with no advisories and expires on the 30/9/2026. We will of course put a fresh MOT on the Jag for its lucky new owner. As above, also in the file are every service receipt and numerous other for routine maintenance.

The XKR-S’s unique Vortex alloys are beautifully presented, having just been professionally dipped, stripped and re-powder coated, they come shod with Michelin Sport Pilot 4 255/35/20, front tyres and Pirelli P Zero 295/30/20 rear tyres, with 7 and 8mm of tread respectively.

Our mega rare XKR-S comes with its original XKR-S leather wallet, owners manual’s, nav disc’s, replacement service book, Jag instant mobility system (pump and sealant), Jag trickle charger, locking wheel nuts and 2 working remote fobs.

The XKR-S, will also receive and 90+ point independent pre delivery inspection. It is of course clear HPI clear. A copy of the PDI and full HPI report will be available to potential purchasers.

Many thanks for wading through our lengthy description, we believe it’s better to describe our cars fully. It is not in our interest to waste your time or ours, with inaccurate or incomplete descriptions. It does of course have the odd age related imperfection but for its age and mileage it’s fabulous, and ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next enthusiast owner.

Our Jaguar XKR-S, really does tick all the QuickandBig.com boxes, super rare, low mileage, fabulously original, comprehensively maintained, mega, super cool, appreciating in value and if course it’s a proper “Jaaag”.

As you can probably tell, I love it, we are lucky to have stocked many petrol head favorites, but if I could keep the “Jaaag”, I would!
